About the event
Equitable financial processes are key to ensuring that your organization's internal systems align with your values and commitment to social justice. They promote transparency and trust among employees, help ensure that resources are equitably distributed, and ultimately strengthen a nonprofit's capacity for long-term sustainability.
CANOE's Deputy Director, Kristina Banks, will kick off the Learning Circle discussion, reflecting on her experience managing inclusive budgeting processes for the democratically-governed organization, Participatory Budgeting Project. We'll break up into small groups, giving folks a chance to learn from each other about financial management approaches that promote fairness and inclusivity and support all team members, especially those with marginalized identities. Whether you're a seasoned nonprofit leader or new to the field, your perspective will be crucial in shaping this conversation!
Register by clicking the RSVP button below and get ready to engage in meaningful dialogue that aims to foster positive change within our organizations and communities. After submitting the registration form, you'll receive an email confirmation with a Zoom link. We look forward to seeing you there!
